The Avatar Course - My Story

During this time of great transition and transformation, I wanted to share with you my experience of the AvatarÒ Course, in hope of inspiring you to explore the AvatarÒ Course for your own personal growth and empowerment.
First of all…What is the AvatarÒ Course?
The AvatarÒ Course is a nine-day self-empowerment training delivered by a world-wide network of licensed AvatarÒ Masters. It is a series of experiential exercises that enable you to rediscover your self and align your consciousness with your goals. You will experience your own unique insights and revelations. It’s you finding out about you.
My Story
When I took the AvatarÒ Course in the early 1990s, I was an “at home mom” with two toddlers, and no income, feeling very trapped and imprisoned in my life. One day out of the blue I received the Avatar Journal in the mail. I normally would have thrown such a thing in the recycling but felt inspired to read it instead. Something I read really spoke to me, and everybody seemed so happy and alive, so I called a local Avatar Master for more information.
Once the word “Avatar” entered my consciousness I began seeing it often. At the time, there was a local band called Avatar and they put posters all around town, on telephone poles, and bulletin boards, so I saw the name frequently keeping Avatar alive in my mind.
During this time, I couldn’t imagine how I would get the money, time, and child support to take this training, but I was determined. One day, nine months after getting the Avatar Journal, I was on a sailboat with all of my major stress; parents, kids, and husband, cruising on Buzzard’s Bay, and a huge sailboat blew past us with the name Avatar on it’s stern. I was in the Course one week later. Once I made the commitment to my life, all the pieces fell into place easily.
I had a lot of gains on my course. It completely changed my life in one week; now The Course is 9 days. Let me give you an example:
I was afraid of dying from cancer since I was nine-years-old. So much of my creative energy was being used up with this fear. I was obsessed with the subject and many of the books I read, or movies I watched were about people with cancer. I was attracting cancer into my life!
During the time of my course I was bleeding between periods and was convinced that I had cancer. I was making plans for my children as if I were dying. On one of the experiential exercises I explored this idea and where the belief “I’m going to die of cancer” came from. I experienced myself going down an elevator shaft, seeing all my past ideas of cancer, books and movies I saw as a child, past lives, it felt like I was going back in time, at last landing in a life experience of a young girl whose mom was dying all alone of skin cancer. I heard two older woman say, “she’s going to get it too, ya know, I hear it is genetic” speaking about me. I, of course, took this belief as fact and began experiencing it as truth.
In ten minutes this whole reality was gone and my physical body changed. Today, I no longer have the fear of dying of cancer; it never enters my mind, and now I am free to use all that creative energy for more positive life experiences. This was just one of many gains in my life since taking the AvatarÒ Course.
With in the last year, I ended a 20-year marriage, moved from the home I build with my own hammer, traveled to France, went through mediation/divorce, and in the process of buying my own home. I don’t think I could have done this without the tools I’ve learned through the Avatar Materials.
It’s been fifteen years since I took my AvatarÒ Course and I’m forever grateful for it. I’ve since moved on to become a licensed Avatar Master, and A Wizard.
Why I chose to become a licensed Avatar Master
Stars Edge oversees the dissemination of the Avatar Materials. Years ago, I read about their plan for World Peace. At the time, nobody I know of had a plan that made sense, and the whole idea of world peace seemed “airy fairy” to me; like an impossible task! Stars Edge decided they would be a for-profit organization rather than a not-for-profit so they could endorse politicians. One requirement for endorsement was that the politician be an Avatar. Since Stars Edge is an international organization with a world presence they could support politicians all over the planet. My inner light bulb went off, and I thought cool…that would work…and I want to be a part of that!
